Bob Hope, please give us 5 rounds of going low! This is a great event that’s all about endurance and it’s always a shootout! The only catch is, you need to have your picks in by Tuesday night!
This is Event 3 of the NG Nation Fantasy Four Contest and it’s never too late to join, as their are monthly prizes.
For a refresher on the rules, hit the link — Contest Guidelines and leave your Fantasy Four below (don’t forget your ONE Nike Athletes).

Winner in 2005, runner up in 2008. Leonard hasn’t been the fastest of starters recently with a CUT in 2010 and a T42 here in 2009. Maybe he’ll finish 3rd in 2011 to stay with his 3 year trend! You heard it here first!
Cink hasn’t played here since 2008 where he picked up a T26. He usually plays the Sony Open, so maybe he’s trying something new with his schedule. He also played in 2005 where he finished T23. Let’s see if he can keep up the 3 year trend. This is getting weird
Lover put up a 72-70 as a full-fledged PGA Tour card carrier. It was solid and he should get some low rounds with plenty of time at this course.
71-67 last week in Hawaii. Very solid and, like Lovemark, will continue to get comfortable. I expect him to make the cut and finish around 40th.
other Nike athletes to choose from :: Kevin Kisner and Stephen Ames
recent finishes – 1st at Sony Open
Didn’t play here in ‘10, CUT in ‘09. T33 in ‘07 is his best result here. Stay away! I wouldn’t be surprised if he backs out before tee time, actually.
recent finishes – t7 at Sony Open, t6 at HTOC, t9 at Shark Shootout, 18 at Chevron
He doesn’t stop. T2 here last year. He’s the favourite to win it!
recent finishes – 3rd at Sony Open
I know he’s not really “hot” after one event, but he’s a streaky player with a T25 here in ‘09. In ‘08 he had a T29. He didn’t play the event in ‘10, so this could be a good event for him.
recent finishes – 8th at HTOC
He took a week off to rest and get ready for his title defense. I think it’s a good move and he’s resting up for a 5 round deathmatch. Watch out for Kill Bill.
best finishes – 1st in ‘03, t3 in ‘09, 6 in ‘10, T5 in ‘06
Health is the issue for Weir, but this is a good place for him to come back. Weir is looking to get back to the President’s Cup with a healthy elbow.
best finishes – T2 in ‘10, T5 in ‘09, T2 in ‘05
Should be one of the favourites to win given his history and a 2nd place last week.
best finishes – 1st in ‘08, 7 in ‘10, T14 in ‘09
You may not like him, but 2 T2’s in recent years here gets you a spot on this list. Throw in a T39 from last year and a T34 in ‘07 and he’s averaging 18th place at this event. Wildcard city.
best finishes – T9 in ‘09, T22 in ‘08, T20 in ‘07, T5 in ‘06, T6 in ‘05, T13 in ‘02
Senden gets the honour of ‘super sleeper’ this week. His history is insane and picked up a solid Top 25 last week
Alan :: Matt Kuchar, Heath Slocum, Bubba Watson and Stewart Cink
Bob :: Matt Bettencourt, Matt Kuchar, Steve Marino and Stewart Cink
Damian :: Matt Kuchar, John Merrick, Stewart Cink and Justin Leonard
Kuchar is on fire, Stricker as well, but he’s not in the field this week. The picks should open up a bit, but Kuchar is still the favourite to win. 5 rounds of glory, let’s go!
