The third event of the year finishes with a 3-way playoff. That’s the only way the PGA Tour knows how to roll…with straight class.
Vegas as a rookie, Haas as a defending champ and Woodland as a human, proved to be a thrilling finish and finally gave some separation in our contest standings! Only 2 people selected Mr. Vegas and only 6 of the 29 entries selected Bill Haas.
We had 29 contest entries this week and 35 unique golfers. We also gained 2 new players this week.
Here’s some key stats;
Most Popular Nike Pick :: Stewart Cink (17 selections)
Highest Nike Finish :: T13 – Justin Leonard (9 selections)
Most Popular Non-Nike Pick :: T7 – Matt Kuchar (24 selections)
Bad Picks :: Tim Clark (WD before event started) and Stewart Cink (CUT)
Average Points :: 7.85
This is what happens when we get cuts and a full field… Coming up… more of that good stuff!
Vegas cashed in big for the two that selected him, but only one came out on top thanks to the hot pairing of Jhonattan Vegas + Bill Haas, who both made it to the playoff. While Fantasy Four contestants would have had a multiple way tie if Haas or Woodland won, JVegas comes up big. Way to roll the dice on Vegas.
This week’s Chicken Dinner goes to … Tony Raines! (JVegas – 1st, Bill Haas – 3rd, Pat Perez – 54th, John Senden – CUT) 24 points.
Tony also jumps up 20 spots.
Other big movers:
Ben R +11 (T10)
John McNamara +11 (T22)
Courtney Zylstra -13 (T22)
Mosher -12 (29)
Chicago Duffer -11 (T17)

That’s a wrap on Week 3. Next week will determine the 1st Monthly Winner! Ohhh BOY, it’s a big one as we head to the Farmers Insurance Open, where Tiger, Phil, DJ, Watney, Mahan and AK will be in action. Good thing it’s only the ProBowl next Sunday so we can all enjoy some golf!
Thanks for playing and keep playing to win some great prizes!

Damian, did I get credit for a top-10 with Vegas? I might be confused.
Hey John,
Yes you did! The spreadsheet shows you have 1 CUT, 2 Top 25′s, 1 Top 10, 1 Win
Vegas counts for 1 top25, 1top10 and the win..and Webb Simpson got your other Top 25.
That’s 19 points!
I just want to thank Stewart Cink and Ricky Barnes for screwing my weekend !. Absolutely unbelieveable, if I din’t know any better I’d say it was fixed/
I can’t believe I forgot to submit picks this week.
so…how many people will be picking Tiger this week?
