G’Lover has a great record at Torrey Pines. T9 in ‘10, T3 in ‘09, MDF in ‘08, T4 in ‘06. Good enough for me. I trust that Lucas has put in the work to get out to a good start.
Jhonattan Vegas
He’s coming off a win. Most athletes tend to slump in their event following a win, but Vegas wants to make a splash on tour. Let’s get it, kid.
Anthony Kim
Kim is hot and healthy. T19 at HTOC and T13 at the Sony Open. He hasn’t played this event since 2008 where he finished T67. He also missed the cut in 2007.

In his last 9 rounds, he’s fired 66 or better in 4 of those rounds. I just like the way he’s trending and they’re two solid finishes. T33 here last year, T19 in ‘08,
Kevin Na

Great start to the year for Na thus far, but hasn’t played here in ‘10 or ‘09. He also had a MC in ‘08, ‘07 and ‘06.
Bill Haas

The stars are aligned for Mr. Haas. Two big Top 10’s, a taste of revenge and a good record at Torrey Pines (T11 in ‘09, T29 in ‘08, T20 in ‘07, T18 in ‘05).
Ben Crane
best finishes – 1st in ‘10, T7 in ‘09
Big Ben is ready to go. He looks to keep his Top 10 streak alive here after a good opening T21 at the Tournament of Champions. He’ll look to stay strong and contend in such a stacked field.
Nick Watney
best finishes – T9 in ‘10, 1st in ‘09, T9 in ‘07
Looking for a breakout year and should post another high finish here in his first start of the season.
Phil Mickelson

I think Phil has a great chance to win. This is a comeback season for Phil and he needs to start the season right!
