If you’re a follower of Nike Golf, by now you know that the Lunar Control is the hottest Nike Golf shoe on Tour among Nike athletes. So far, four Nike athletes have won with the Nike Lunar Control on their feet: Charl Schwartzel, Jhonattan Vegas, John Cook and Paul Casey.
You may have seen most, if not all, the U.S. colorways on their feet including Black/Silver/Black, White/Metallic Silver/Volt (my favorite), White/Black/Pewter, and White/Black/Varsity Red. I know Casey and Vegas particularly like the White/Black/Pewter model. You may have even read Nike Golf blog’s post from Design Director-Footwear, Carl Madore, who discussed working with Paul Casey to develop the shoe.
But over in Japan, there is another colorway that isn’t sold in the U.S. and that is strikingly bold – and that is the Red Lunar Control. Have a look for yourself below – featuring all the same benefits including flywire and lunarlon technology and a new studded power platform, I would love to get my hands on these.
