Nike SB-sponsored skateboarder Eric Koston and Nike Golf athlete Paul Casey teamed up at the Honda Classic Pro-Am yesterday. The skateboarder, who has invented such tricks as the banana bunny grind and the fandangle, also had a chance to visit The Oven, Nike’s golf club testing facility and check out some of the new equipment.
No word on what score Koston posted, or if he was wearing a golf version of his new shoe – the Eric Koston 1. With all the popularity in “street” golf shoes today, perhaps these will find a way onto the course.
