At the end of this month, I’ll be traveling for work to Miami, Chicago and Boston, all within a two-week span. And you can be sure I will have my clubs in tow along with my suits and laptop. Coincidentally, today I received a Nike Golf luggage tag set for my travel bag, which is a great way to identify my bag when it comes down the baggage carousel.
The luggage tags are manufacturered by Bill Adler Design/Spirit Leatherworks, who in 2004, was awarded licenses for manufacturing Nike Golf and Tiger Woods leather accessories. Adler began designing and selling belts in 1981 after an acting stint in Hollywood.
The two tags in this set are not made of out leather however. Instead, they are made out of a flexible, and durable rubber that is not only easy to clean, but able to fit any standard size business card. The flexibility also means that tag can be easily attached using a loop that you put the tag through. There are no snaps or buttons that may cause the tag to fall off.
One side of the all-black tag includes a big Nike Swoosh, while the other has the default bag tag information card, covered by a clear laminate. Switching out the card for your business card takes a matter of seconds. I find that the giant swoosh is sleek, especially on a black travel bag, but perhaps more importantly, it makes it very easy to identify your bag.
Here’s a look at the tag on my travel bag:
Summary: If you’re a Nike Golf nut (like the NGN staff) then this luggage tag set would be a great addition to your golf travel bags. They’re durable, and a great way to identify your bags and also you as a Nike brand ambassador.
