Weekend Wrap-up :: 05.2

A somewhat lackluster weekend, but the LPGA stars were out in full force, as with the European Tour. They both need more coverage.

  • The big news to me this weekend is Westwood winning back-to-back events.
  • However, if you ask me about the biggest Nike Athlete news of the week, it’s James Morrison’s Top 10′. This is the first time he’s had 3 straight made cuts in a year. He’s on a good streak and it’s always good to see.
  • Suzann Pettersen is back to her Top 5 ways. This is her first Top 5 of the season after her T19 at Kraft Nabisco. Her results thus far are T3, T19, T10, T16 and T8.
  • Tiger is injured, as announced on his website. Other than that, not much news for the PGA and Nationwide Nike Staff.

Here’s how all of the Nike Golf Athletes fared at the pro events this past weekend;
