Nike Notes: Lunar Controls and Euro 20XI Bags

Hey all, the weather is absolutely gorgeous here and I can’t wait to get back out there. I have some new golf balls to test out and some new threads to sport on the course. Here’s a quick Nike Notes post on the new custom Lunar Control for Simon Dyson and the 20XI bags for the European athletes.

Manchester United Lunar Control

When it comes to customization, there’s no doubt that Nike has one of the best operations out there. They’ve customized shoes for every sport and have recently customized the Lunar Control for English Premier League team Manchester United. Similar to the shoes made for the Pac-10 college teams, this exclusive Lunar Control made for Simon Dyson at the BMW Championship, have a black flywire saddle, with a red swoosh outlined in gold.  Here are some pics:

Note the Manchester United stand bag as well. As for me, I’m an Arsenal fan, so this shoe is much more appealing to my eye!

European 20XI Bags

The Nike Golf Athletes finally got their new 20XI bag and will be using them for the rest of the season. They look really good all lined up like that. Also, for those have inquired, the 20XI bag will be available retail starting January 2012 and you will be able to get them customized with your name on it.
