It’s time for professional golf’s second major of the year – the U.S. Open at Congressional Country Club. And just like the special Lunar Control for the 2011 Masters, Nike Golf has released a commemorative limited edition Lunar Control for the upcoming major.
Featuring the same black flywire saddle used on the White/Black/Volt colorway, this edition has a red liner and red Lunarlon sole. The shoe comes with an embroidered shoe bag with the American flag and dates of the tournament as well.

In addition, Nike Golf has confirmed that the shoe will be available on nikestore.com starting on Monday, June 13th, the first day of U.S. Open Week.
I know I keep saying it, but the Lunar Control is the most comfortable Nike Golf shoe ever made. And this limited edition colorway will undoubtedly attracts stares of envy on the course.
