Nike Athlete Francesco Molinari had the best finish among the swooshers at the World Golf Championship – Bridgestone Invitational, but he was barely edged out by another Nike Athlete in this best dressed contest. Read below to see more.
Round three goes to Georgia native Stewart Cink. Cink wore the new 1972 Plaid Polo in Treasure Blue but he gets extra points for wearing a blue belt with it. With all the rage for white belts on tour over the past couple years, it was nice to see Cink pair his belt with his shirt. Maybe it will be the new trend for next year. More on the shirt… Nike Golf’s 1972 Plaid Men’s Golf Polo is a tribute to the year Nike was born and features an old-school print design with Dri-Fit technology. Lucas Glover also wore the black version of this year at this year’s Open Championship.
The fourth round was a tough battle between Francesco Molinari in his royal blue Mesh Tech Stripe Polo, and Lucas Glover in his N98 Polo. Ultimately, I had to go with G’Lover because this new N98 polo is just undeniably stylish. It’s a brand new concept to the Nike Golf line and really takes on stle from Nike’s European brethren. Pairing it with grey slacks and a white belt, Glover had this outfit matched perfectly. More on the shirt…The N98 polo only weighs 5oz. and uses Dri-Fit UV technology. A blue strip across the shoulder is further accented by green piping.
Now that the tournament is over, who do you think was the best dressed Nike Athlete?
