The big story with Nike Golf this week was not Tiger Woods, for me. Sure, Thursday/Friday news was Tiger blowing up and Rory’s injury, but the weekend was an entirely different story.
Now that it’s all said and done, Charl Schwartzel, Jhonattan Vegas and Simon Dyson all have a lot to be proud of.
NO ONE, in the past 2 years, has played better Major golf than Charl Schwartzel. 9 straight made cuts, 8 Top 30s, 7 Top 20s, 2 Top 10s.
Oh, and there were 3 other events this week. Marius Thorp was the only Nike athlete to get a Top 10 this past weekend.
