After leading after the 2nd round and following that up with a 75, Tiger Woods finished 3rd at the Australian Open. Tiger matched his 2nd round 67 last night, with the 2nd best round of the day. Take a look at Tiger’s scorecard below;
Tiger finished 2 shots back of Greg Chalmers and you can see the two bogeys above.
Lots of good takeaways from this weekend. While he had 29, 29 and 34 putts in his first 3 rounds, Tiger only took 27 putts in his final round.
After a 75 in Round 3, Tiger moved up 5 places after his 67. Tiger’s final rounds this year have been better than most would realize;
- 68 at the Frys.com Open (moved him up 7 spots)
- 70 at the WGC-Bridgestone (moved him up 1 spot)
- 67 at the Masters (moved him up 5 spots)
- 66 at the WGC-Cadillac (moved him up 20 spots)
Hopefully we’ll see some more good things at the President’s Cup next week.
