A few months back I bought a pair of the Nike Lunar Ascend Golf shoe in the blue/gray/white colorway, and I posted first look pics in this post. Since then I’ve worn them in several rounds on the course, and they are extremely light and very comfortable. I bought that pair in size 14, the size in which I normally buy my Nike Golf shoes. I noted in the previous post that the size runs true, if not a little big, but not too big. After wearing them for a few rounds and having them form to my feet, my feeling now is that the sizing is somewhere around a half-size large. They still fit comfortably, as I like my golf shoes to not be too tight and have a little room, but I need to lace them pretty tight to keep them snug. If you are buying a pair of Lunar Ascends for yourself, I suggest trying them on to make sure the size is right for you.
These are great summer golf shoes, and I wanted to get another pair of Lunar Ascends in another color, so I bought a pair in the white/gray/red colorway, and in size 13 to see how that size would feel. I’ve only tried them on indoors, the fit is snug (especially in the forefoot) but not too tight. My sense is that after a few rounds they will loosen up and fit comfortably, a little more tightly than the size 14.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be wearing the blue/gray/white size 14s, but after I’ve gamed the white/gray/red size 13s for a few rounds, I’ll update you on the fit of that pair. In the meantime, check out the pics in the gallery below.
