As if I didn’t have enough Nike Golf bags in my collection — 1 staff, 1 Performance Carry, 2 SQ Tour Carry, 1 Xtreme Sport Carry 3, and two older models out in the shed — I had to buy one of the Nike Vapor X Carry bags. I had seen this awesome bag (which actually came out back in November, this my first look at it) at the Scottsdale PGA Superstore, and was really impressed not only with how feather light it is, but with the many features it includes. It has pockets galore, including two stretch pockets for gear, a cooler pocket, a small pocket for accessories or a small GPS unit, a waterproof valuables pocket and a mesh pocket inside the main pocket for gloves and accessories. It also has a velcro patch for gloves to dry and a loop to attach a rangefinder or GPS unit. Top it off with a 5-way divider at the top of the main compartment, ventilated back pad, rotating strap system with Nike Air padding in the straps, and elastic loops to keep the legs in place when on a cart, and you have a super-light carry bag that’s great for the recreational golfer or serious player alike, whether they carry it, use it on a pull cart or put it on the back of a riding cart.
I look forward to testing this great new bag in a round on the course soon, but for now check out these pics of the Vapor X:
