Hey NG Nation readers! Bob here with an editor’s note about something new you’ll be seeing in the coming weeks and months on NG Nation. NG Nation has begun accepting sponsored post requests and offers from a select group of trusted partners whose products and services we believe will be of interest NGN readers. The first of these sponsored posts is my VR_S Covert driver review which is sponsored by Global Golf, a company from whom I have bought many Nike Golf products over the years (the first of which was my Ignite driver many years back). We are also talking with a few other companies about sponsoring posts on NGN, companies who either offer Nike Golf products for sale or products and services we believe NGN readers would be interested in.
To date, NG Nation has turned down all paid sponsorship and advertising offers in order to maintain the editorial integrity of the site. Because of this policy I have personally funded NGN out of my own pocket, and the funds needed to keep the site going have not been insignificant. The reason we are now accepting sponsored posts on NGN is to offset some of the hard costs and fees involved in running the site. Sponsorship can take the form of cash sponsorship or trade for in-kind product (which was the case for the Global Golf sponsorship agreement).
So in summary, in addition to our regular editorial features, you may see an occasional post that is sponsored by a trusted partner of NG Nation. You can read more about our editorial policy on our Disclosure Policy page.
Finally, I want to personally thank all of our loyal readers who have supported NG Nation over the past four years — yes, NGN turns 4 on May 10th! Without your support NGN wouldn’t be what it is today, and it certainly wouldn’t have been as much fun to make happen and keep going! Thanks again for your continued enthusiasm and support!
