The staff bags that the Nike Golf Athletes are gaming in the 2013-2014 season have a new look — a sharp looking white and red VR_S Covert 2.0 color scheme. The bag features a metallic red that echoes the red of the driver, fairway and hybrid heads, combined with a white that’s reminiscent of the new white Tour Wrap grips. There are white swooshes in the red areas and large silver VR_S logos in the top white area. The new bags are very striking and really stand out against the green of the course.
Nike Golf doesn’t usually do special staff bag designs for the majors (as some of the other OEMs do), but this bag design in particular seems like it would lend itself to replacing the red with a metallic green for the Masters, maybe keep the red (with blue accents?) for the U.S. Open, use a metallic blue for the Open Championship, and blue again for the PGA Championship at Valhalla.
What do you think of the new 2014 Nike Golf staff bag design?
