FedEx Cup Fantasy Four Recap :: The Barclays

No one picked Dustin Johnson. Interesting! I found the event to be very anticlimactic. There’s something wrong with no golf on Sunday.

That’s a wrap for Month 7. No change in the Top 2 for the 2nd Half Overall and Month 7 standings. This week was a fun week to watch with AK in the mix. Old favourite, Bill Haas, pulled through, too. Sergio, Phil, CH3 and Overton failed to deliver, but there was still some decent scoring.

Fantasy Four Recap :: RBC Canadian Open

Well, Donald, Kuchar and Kim dissappointed, but Schwartzel gets busy and stays as one of the most solid golfers on tour this year.

Big ups to O’Hair. No one picked him, but I have him in my year long salary cap game, so I’m happy.

Fantasy Four Recap :: The Open Championship

Looks like Stephen Vang should have taken AK! We did manage some Top 10’s with Sergio and Dyson, but that was it. Other than that, Stricker, Kaymer, Schwartzel and McIlroy came through with Top 25’s.

  • Entries :: 36
  • Unique Golfers ::  26

  • Highest Nike Finish :: Anthony Kim (0 selections, T5)
  • Most Popular Non-Nike Pick :: Lee Westwood (24 selections, CUT)
  • Rare (and Good) Picks :: Sergio Garcia (6 selections, T9) and Simon Dyson (2 selections, T9)
  • Average Points :: 4.64 (17.07 last week)

Three way tie for the dinner this week. Each had a Top 10 and 2 Top 25s.

D. Thai + Lendell + Paul Manbeck :: Sergio Garcia (9), Schwartzel (16), McIlroy (25) and Westwood (CUT)

Paul Manbeck has stolen the overall and the monthly lead, thanks to his last minute switch from Luke Donald to Sergio Garcia.

Lendell also moves into a tie for the monthly lead. It’s a close race with 2 events left this month.
